For the vote republishing issue I mentioned yesterday during the dev space, I implemented a proof of concept that I think could work. I did 2 rounds of spam. Default node and Default + PoC. The results show, with Deafult node I'm republishing at my configured bandwidth limit (10MB). With the PoC in place, I'm down to ~1.5MB outgoing traffic. From traces I could see that we are publishing the same vote multiple times instead of just once. Even though there is a test to only a vote the first time it's processed, so it should not happen in theory. My PoC introduces a "vote_spacer_by_signature". So If we've recently rebroadcast a confirm_ack with a specific signature, we won't republish again for 5 minutes. These are early results, and the final approach might change. Still wanted to share. 🙂

Yes, the first version will certainly be an xUSDT or xUSDC, backed 100% by a corresponding public reserve. This will probably be centralized on nanswap or with the help of partners. The xUSD, xEUR, xBTC, etc are the long-term project.
